Good Start to the Month

After last month finding a ounce with the GPX 5000 I had started this month (May) off in a good way. I found a little run of gold which had a 4 gram nugget mixed in with them. In 3 days I had picked up over 11 grams which I was pretty happy about.
I had the chance to go out for a day during the week for a detecting trip which I don't really get the chance to do. I was detecting for 3 hours and I was walking up the hill side and my ankle had let go. I was in a bit of pain and thinking I might as well go home.
I took a few steps and had a loud signal. I took the top of the ground away thinking it was going to be a 22 shell. I dug down to about 30cm and the target was out, I looked down and there it was a 16.3 gram nugget. I called it a day as my ankle was way too sore but I was happy enough with the find.
