First Gold in West Australia

02/21/16

In March 2014, we were looking for gold in Western Australia!

We were travelling from Kalgoorlie to Menzies, however, one must not look everywhere for gold, yes, because there is a lot of land already owned by people. So we had to look for land where there was no owner, but were also lucky and so might be looking for gold. Here the ministry has helped in Kalgoorlie!

I had my old X-TERRA 705 and thus have 3 beautiful nuggets found each with about 2 grams.

Here in the picture you can see the first nugget, which I have found in Western Australia with 2.1 gram weight.

It was a very nice trip and a great experience unfortunately a lot of flies were everywhere, which has hampered the search for gold.

Nevertheless, we will fly back next year to Western Australia with a special gold detector and even more gold find!
