Best done in a calm sea, walking in the break with your waterproof pulse induction detector can allow you to hunt some areas which are only uncovered briefly. Be sure to bring your long handled sand scoop as there is no way you'll be able to dig by hand.

And don't forget! Clean your coil! Salt and other minerals are abundant in sea water. After the water and sand is long gone, these minerals are left behind on your coil and in the cover and can cause significant interference. Remove your coil cover and wash both in fresh water after every beach outing.
