Q: I own a excalibur ii by minelab that has been in storage for a couple years and my battery pack is not charging. My question is do they go bad over time?A: Hello Aaron, If the battery pack is not charging and hasn't been used in a couple of years it is possible the battery has gone bad. We do however sell the battery pod for the Minelab Excalibur II separately, which can be found here: https://www.kellycodetectors.com/nimh-battery-pod-excalibur-ii It is also recommended that you charge the battery each time after use to ensure the battery holds its charge. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
