The StuLine Signature Series Shovel is a maximum duty, all-terrain shovel designed to help detectorists dig through the toughest roots and soil conditions. Our engineers and detectorists collaborated to bring you a refined, strong, and comfortable shovel that can outperform and outlast the industry's best T-handle shovels. Crafted with strength and durability in mind this supremely balanced shovel makes it easy to dig precisely where you want - no matter the terrain. Design inspired by the Discontinued White's Ground Hawg Shovel, the StuLine Signature Series Shovel's design is both functional and intentional, addressing many shovels' primary weaknesses.
How the StuLine Signature Series Shovel compares to competition:
- Larger: 30% larger spade on average (46% Larger Spade than White's Ground Hawg Shovel!) means you’ll reach your target faster and with less work.
- Thicker: 33% thicker steel than the competition on average.
- Longer: Over 100% longer tang means the shaft is over twice as difficult to bend from digging in tough conditions.
- Wider: 25% wider T-handle, on average, ensures a substantially more comfortable grip.
- Sharper: Double-sided, graduated serrations make quick work of the toughest roots, soil conditions, and terrains.
- Tougher: Tensile strength of shaft 50% stronger than White's Ground Hawg at break point. Sharpened and hardened, the heat treated spade maintains its edge and is easy to sharpen and hone.
The StuLine Signature Series Shovel is a refinement of all T-Handle shovels and is built with a purpose. We are so confident in the StuLine Signature Series Shovel line that each purchase comes with a free lifetime warranty.*
**CAUTION: This shovel is sharp, and can inflict serious bodily harm if misused. Please check local ordinances to see if you need a permit for such a destructive implement.
NOTE: This shovel includes a disposable protective sheath for protecting the spade during shipment. The sheath may not be useable when you receive it and the sheath can be thrown away.

This shovel does have a little extra weight. Looking it over i really think part of the extra weight comes from the steel rod that connects the blade to the shaft. It seems to extend almost halfway up the handle. Either way it is a perfect shovel for me, and i am glad that i purchased it. Good luck hunting, Hope every one finds a gold ring or two this year. -

I picked this shovel up in a CTX 3030 package. I already have a Pro Detector Anaconda NX-6 that is (or was) my everyday shovel.
I have to say that even though the StuLine is slightly heavier, it will become my everyday shovel. The shovel blade is slightly wider (less cuts per plug) and the slight angle between handle and shovel blade makes popping plugs easier.
The shovel is also half the price of the Anaconda.
In you are on the fence, I hope this review helps. -

Excellent shovel made for metal detecting or zombies. Yes it's super heavy duty I guess if you want a light shovel buy a hand shovel. -

T is a great tool needed to cut through the tuff root mass. A little heavy, but worth the extra effort. I'd rather it be heavy / strong and durable, than light and weak. -

I love it. A tad on the heavy side. Cuts like a razor. I’ve bought 2 one for me and one for my son. It’s great for the value also. -

The StuLine shovel is like the love child of a razor blade and a bulldozer. It is a tool of beauty that can dig a relic, slice a cucumber, or readily dispatch a zombie. You won't be disappointed with this one! The shaft and t-bar handle are much bigger than I anticipated, which is a good thing. Solid value at almost half the price of the competition. -

Bought the two for one package st Christmas. Never had specific detecting shovel, used small shovel from hardware store for last three years. Used stu-line shovel once and bent it! Second plug ground fid have 1 inch of frost but bent shovel try to pop plug. This shovel is very heavy not great for long hikes to site or carrying a day long dig. Shovel head is nice but buy a different shovel. This is the only detecting shovel I have used so I have nothing to compare too. But will be taking my $17 hardware shovel with me from now on. -

Haven’t used it outside yet as it’s too cold in the Northeast. This is one solid shovel. A bit on the heavy side. An optional leather or heavy duty sheath would be a bonus, the one that comes with didn’t even make it through shipping. -

I was using a trench shovel, but it wasn't cutting through roots very well. The Stuline cuts through them like butter. The plugs are almost invisible when I put them back which is nice. The shovel itself is super heavy duty. Several of my digs were in rocky areas and it still worked great. Super happy with my purchase. Thanks Kellyco! -

Got the BOGO deal a couple weeks back. This shovel is built Solid! It is over built to the point of being on the heavy side. 3 cuts makes a perfect sized, hinged plug. I like it! -

Described as "inspired" by the White's Ground Hawg, I'd say there's more DNA than "inspired" in there! This is an impressive heavy duty shovel. Blade length is 7 1/2" with a blade width at 6" use caution as the blade is very sharp! I was a fan of the Ground Hawg and I'm a big fan now of the StuLine Signature series!!
