Fisher Metal Detector Finds Rings, Coins and more!
I have been an avid land hunter for 35 years but after detecting an old beach area and shallow water, my views are changing about detecting! My friend Sonny invited me down for some water detecting and I made the 250 mile drive to detect. I have tried water detecting on and off over the years with not much luck. My luck would change as both me and Sonny were using the Fisher CZ-20's and made some awesome finds.
We detected for two days in the water for a total of about 8 hours. Our finds consisted of class rings from 1929, 36 and 37, silver and gold bands, walking liberty halves, standing liberty quarters, buffalo nickels, v nickel, mercury dimes, wheat's cents, tokens, id bracelets and misc. stuff. This was some of the best detecting I've ever done. The CZ's performed flawlessly and the finds prove it. This beach front was active from the 1920's to the late 1960's. I think our next venture may be to get a hookah system and just see how many more old coins and rings we can find!
The Fisher CZ-20 still has to be one of the best if not the best water detector. One can only hope the new company comes out with a new unit as worthy as the CZ-20.HH Larry, IN
