White's Matrix M6 Metal Detector

White's Matrix M6 Metal Detector

Product Review (submitted on April 12, 2008):
I think the White's M6 machine is great! It goes deep and it is very easy to use. I have been detecting for several years and have used several other detectors.

I cannot say enough about the M6. It's really great on coins! My first detector was a Fisher 1225x, it was ok as I was just starting out. My dad bought it for me when I was about 15 years of age, so I could go treasure hunting with him. I think he had a Fisher 553D, if I remember right. I lost interest in the hobby and did not go for several years.

Until one day at work some co-workers were talking about purchasing a metal detector. I told them what I had and was thinking of getting a new one. So after a little research, I decided to get a Prizm IV. I wasn't too sure about the target ID because I have never used one with that feature. Anyway, it was a great lightweight machine and I was amazed how accurate the target ID was.

I used it for approx. 2 years and was looking at the M6, my dad said son let me try that machine out. So I said OK and he loved it. He said I'll buy that machine if you want that M6, so I said alright.

I didn't think he would ever lay down the old Fisher for any reason but after using the Prizm IV with target ID he was sold. He even bought my mother a Prizm IV and she loves it also.

The following week I purchased the M6. If you are thinking about a mid-priced detector, you might want to try the Matrix M6. You won't be disappointed.
