Want to increase your underwater detecting range? BLU3 Nemo is the world's smallest diving system, supporting one diver to up to 10-feet deep with 2 rechargeable battery packs that lasts over an hour each. Air is drawn from the surface above the water and pumped through an air hose to provide clean breath air to the diver. Paired with an underwater metal detector, you'll be able to explore new depths.
The custom compressor that comes with Nemo is fully sealed and built to work in saltwater. And patent pending SmartReg technology enables Nemo to be more portable and energy efficient than any other dive system around. Inside the SmartReg, a waterproof sensor detects when the diver inhales and triggers to compressor to pump air at exactly the time and speed the diver is inhaling. This enables Nemo to use a fraction of the energy of other underwater breathing systems.
BLU3 Nemo's lithium ion battery weighs just 1.3 pounds and is easily swappable for an additional 60+ minutes of run time -- and it recharges in three hours or less. The battery capacity is less than 100Wh, so it can be safely carried on to an airplane.
The Nemo system includes a dive flag, which is used to signal that a diver is underwater. The Red and White flag is used in the United States, Canada, and some other countries.
BLU3 Nemo has enough buoyancy to float in the water without attaching the flotation tube for times when you are diving in the pool or other enclosed body of water. But whenever waves or boating traffic are present in your diving location then the flotation tube should be installed. This gives Nemo not only 22 pounds of additional buoyancy but also superb visibility. The flotation tube easily inflates and deflates so that it packs away nice and tight. Use your mouth to easily inflate the tube. To attach the flotation tube, simply slide it onto Nemo from the top and clip the corresponding buckles together.
The system includes the Nemo backpack, which features padded straps with compartments inside for secure storage of Nemo and your accessories, like spare batteries, your weight belt and your mask. Plus, straps on the outside give you a spot to mount your fins. A zip pocket allows you to safely tuck away your phone and wallet.

Review by Southern Relics on July 9, 2021I had a great opportunity to test this unit for a time, and I will say that it is a fantastic device to use for metal detecting shallow swimming areas. I used it in my local lakes in SC, and was able to find three rings with my metal detector at nearly 8 feet deep on each find. Without having the Nemo I probably would not have been able to maintain stability in the water with a full size detector and sandscoop to find them. Scuba diving is great for treasure hunting, but the Blu3 Nemo surely has a place in shallow beaches and swimming areas. It would even work great for gold dredging in creeks and shallow rivers as well. I found that each battery would last around 90 minutes if I was swimming around 5-8 feet during my dives. Great product!!
