Review by Southern Relics on November 2, 2021When I first bought my simplex I did not buy these wireless headphones. But then I got tired of dealing with a wired set that I had.
Man I really like these. They are easy to sync to the Simplex. And even better, they can also pair to the PulseDive when I am using it as a pinpointer!
The battery life in these last more than 20 hrs by my field testing. That’s easily two days of digging without recharging! That’s great!
The shipping was fast as always.
Review by Jerry The Mining Monkey on February 21, 2020Before I begin, I'm going to state that I lost complete hearing in my right ear almost 4 years ago ,still dealing with it sometimes but oh well. So with that said I have 1 good ear left that can hear almost perfect pitch so I try my darnnest to protect it and not lose hearing in that one. So with this Nokta wireless headset it easily paired to the detector and sound was excellent and not laggy but my disappointment is the lack of volume tuning refining so I don't blow out my left ear. There is no volume adjustment on the headphones the adjustment only comes from the Simplex+ volume 3,2,1 and mute the level 1 volume use much too loud for my ear to handle since me left ear is more sensitive to sound since I'm lacking it on right ear, make sense?
So there is an option to use a 3.5mm stereo plug from the headset but at this point I don't want to be hassled with wired and also charging the headset just to get an analog sound coming out. I would much rather get the simplex+ adapter to 1/4" plug and get me a decent pair of headphones with a volume control knob, that's the perfect combo for me. Had i known about the lack of volume control for the head set I wouldn't have got them. Some other folks may think the volume is just right on level 1 ,it's because they are hard of hearing or starting to lose their hearing. Any fine tuning will have to be made on firmware updates from the simplex+ not the headset. Anyways hope this helps those that are in my boat ,if not you'll just have to try them out they are great and the response is dead nuts I must admit. But these wireless headphones are regrettably not for me.
Review by Angel Luis Perez Pito on February 1, 2020No more tangle with the wire. Perfect sound, I can pair with my Nokta Makro Gold Kruzer Metal Detector plus my Nokta Makro Pulsedive and pinpointer. Works excellent. When I work with my detector, the pinpointer shoots up and when I work with my pinpointer, my metal detector shoots up. Hey this is one of the best performing headphones! Highly recommended. Pito
Review by Kenton on August 24, 2019Use my wireless headphones on my impact. Love not fighting with or stepping on the cord. To top it off the sounds are clearer and more defined. Did have them come unpaired before, but think it was my fault. Let the batteries get low. If these go out I'll just have to save my milk money and get some more......

Q: Hi I really liked the simplex machine and headphones in term of sound convenience and Bluetooth capability , I bought a second one fir my son but the headphones are not very sturdy , unfortunately I fell while hiking the ear cup popped out and must have pulled out a wire , I was told accidents not under warranty so I opened it saw the loose wire fixed it but now still won’t charge consistently I think the wire is so thin that it does not have a good connection. Tried twice but no luck. Are they still reparable and/ or is it worth the cost $120 to buy a new pair versus cost to fix, regardless I will order the dongle headphone connector so I have an option to use wired as back up in cases like this… Thanks for time and any advice….A: We do not do repairs, you can reach out to Nokta Makro using this link to see if the repair is feasible. https://www.noktadetectors.com/usa-technical-service-form/
