M6 Finds at a POW Camp

Over a year and a half ago a friend of mine mentioned the whereabouts of a WWII POW Camp in Michigan. He knew the land owner where he believed the camp used to be and granted us permission to hunt it. The first hunt was not as successful as I was a novice relic hunter at the time. If you gave me a coin signal under the M6, I would have it found in a jiffy, but relics were a new game for me.

V3i Helps Me Find My First Gold Coin

With winter fast approaching and an unseasonable forecast for a high of 68 degree's myself and two of my hunting buddies decided to get out for what could very well be the last hunt of the year. We decided to hunt an old fairground that dates back to the late 1800's. The site is now split between a corn field and woods. This particular site has been hunted hard for at least 30 years.

Bringing Home a Silver with My V3i

I spend a lot of time with my White’s machines hunting for civil war relics, but it never ceases to amaze me as to how many other nice finds can be had unexpectedly in a civil war site. One very common find, unrelated to the battles, are newer coins. I've found coins in the middle of huge open fields, far out in the woods, just about anywhere.
