The V3i is so Accurate
I have been having a blast with my White’s V3i for two years now. I have been finding many wheat penny's and more silver this year than ever before. Most of the older coins are down six to eight inches. I am finding these coins around old homes in my own area. One of my most impressive finds happened when I was going over an area which gets metal detected a lot. It is located in a local park. The grass is thick, and it was a steep incline. There were hardly any coins to be found. There was lots of chopped up aluminum cans everywhere. I got a really interesting signal that I thought about ignoring. It was mixed from from VDI's 27 up ...

My BeachHunter 300 is My Dream Come True
In February 2012 I bought my BeachHunter 300. Since then you will see how happy I am with it. I started using it the next day and got tons of everything. I thought I was at a disco night club the way the lights were going off on my BeachHunter 300. I was getting hit after hit. My hits were one inch to China it seem like, from metal, to gold, to coins, to silver, to iron,,bottle caps pull tabs, bobby pins, and ect., and the lights on the BeachHunter 300 were right on. I am very happy with my BeachHunter 300. Way to go White's, and by the way 95% of this was found in the water. My wife just bought the Coinmaster GT last week and already started ...

A Class Ring Safely Returned to Owner

It was getting late in the season and I decided I had better get out and do some detecting before the weather changed for the worse. So, I usually just drive around and look for a yard to detect and then stop and see if the homeowner will let me detect. I was really happy when this one homeowner said “yes”.

The M6 Really Rocks!
I purchased my M6 in January 2013 and although I did not use it much for a few months I have been finding coins everywhere I go. My first White's detector was an Eagle Spectrum, and after 21 years I passed it on to my daughter and it was still working great with no problems. This M6 really rocks! It is simple to use and I like it far better than my old Eagle Spectrum. I hunt everywhere I can legally use a detector and shopping centers with the grassy islands in the parking lot are loaded with coins, and one of my favorite places to shoot. I was just at another shopping center earlier this morning and barely had to move the coil without having ...

MXT Finds a Union Eagle Breastplate
I recently purchased a White's MXT metal detector. Yesterday evening , September 1, 2013 I decided to search around my front yard near Smithfield , North Carolina. I had the detector in relic mode and had found two Roosevelt clad dimes then I got a strong signal of a 62 VDI. I dug down 6 inches and uncovered what I thought was an old soup can lid. When I recovered it and flipped it over I realized I had found a rare civil war breast plate. It is in over all great shape with most of the lead back still intact but missing the hooks. I look forward to many more relic finds and nothing can beat a White's detector!!!...

MXT Finds a 1827 1/2 Dime on My Test Run
I have had other detectors in the past and have been around others with the White’s detectors. I was impressed while on hunts by the finds the White’s machines would produce behind me and other detectors. I began researching the White’s machines, and I chose the MXT. When I picked the machine up, the saleslady said “happy hunting”. I said to her, “all I want to do is find a ½ dime”. She remarked, “That is a first, most people say they want to find a gold coin”. I said, “If I look hard enough to find a ½ dime, then I will be looking close enough to find a gold coin”. She...

The Eclipse 4x6 Coil is Incredible
I have been using a White's 4x6" Coin Shooter DD coil for several months now and it has been highly effective on my VX3 metal detector. Recently, I have been detecting at local parks and have literally found hundreds of coins. I'm sure many of those coins were missed by other detectors. The 4x6" coil excels at separating the coins from other metals in the ground. The coil's Target ID and Pinpointing capabilities are very precise. My deepest find so far was a dime at 8 inches. It was resting in the ground vertically, standing on its edge! Overall, I'm very impressed with the performance of this coil... It is incredible!...

So Glad I Upgraded to a V3i
I would like to start out by saying thanks for making such amazing detectors. I decided to upgrade from a DFX to a V3i back in January, and man am I glad I did! So far I have found 3 large cents, a 1941 mercury dime, and a lead bale seal. All of which were found in spots where I thought I had previously hunted out with my DFX. The V3i ability to pick up small objects very deep in the ground is just amazing. I have also found a small piece of metal with the Masonic (Free Mason) symbol on it. I am not sure what it would have been to, but I was very excited to find it since the Free Masons are such a secret society. My most recent find was a huge led ...

MX5 is the Best on the Market for the Money
I went out with a group to test the MX5 in an area that we have pounded. these people are seasoned hunters with high end detectors. I like to tell folks that with all of our experience we should be over 1000 years old. but that's another story. It really wasn't a fair fight because I was playing with programs to find the settings I like best. I dug a great many more targets then I normally dig because I didn't believe the detector. In all cases the detector was correct. the bad items were typically cut nails or junk. I kept thinking a bad deep target would get better when the detector got closer. the good news was when it locked on t...

A New Property to Hunt Pays Off

I have been using a White's V3i since March of 2010. Well I had to take the wife's van in to have an oil change and get the rotors replaced. Cool thing is that I recently got permission to detect the old property next to the garage. So I dropped the van off and headed over to start swinging. First thing I did was went over to the property corner and see if I could find the iron pin because the property owner asked me the last time I was there if I could find his corners. Found all but two so I am still looking for them. And again no luck today. WAY to many nails! So I decided to go over by the road which is original to the area a...
