MXT Finds an Old 1820 Coin

First off I have too say WOW the MXT E-series metal detector is just plain amazing and a big THANK YOU goes out to you White’s for making such a awesome metal detector!! It all started one frosty/frigid morning I was hunting this old farm field from the 1700’s to early 1900’s. Targets were scarce and junk was all that was showing.

Found My First US Plate with My MXT

I was enjoying my first day of vacation and I had a new spot I wanted to try and the time to do it. Armed with my MXT I headed out. When I picked up a few bullets in the first 10 minutes I new it was going to be a good day. As I worked my way around the field I continued to find the odds and ends left over from a Civil War encampment.

MXT is a Do All Detector

I've had my MXT for about a year and a half now. I decided to do a bit of relic detecting on a well known Civil War battle site. I started off early in the morning and not having much luck.

I moved on down the river hunting in relic mode. I got a bullet signal at 10 inches. This MXT goes deep real deep. Out pops a three ringer wow my second Civil War bullet for this year.

MXT Finds a 10oz Brick of Silver

A few weeks ago my buddy Dave and I went to a local park in Puyallup, WA with our DFX’s to do some detecting and after a couple of hours and very little to show for it, we called it quits. Today (Oct 22nd) another friend, Rich (he has an MXT) called me up and asked me to go to the same park and work it.

MXT Finds Old Guardian Angel

I wanted to share this find with you all. I found this religious medallion on a playground. At first, the VDI was all over the place 21-63 and after several sweeps it settled at 63, I thought for sure I had another penny. I moved a few wood chips aside and sure enough there was a penny sitting there.

No Trade Backs!

I have been detecting for about 4 years now. I've always used one of your competitor’s detectors and wanted to try White’s. I found someone with a used White's MXT who wanted to do the same. We agreed to meet at a local park which I thought was hunted out.

Really Enjoying My MXT!

I enjoy hunting with my White's MXT metal detector because it's so easy and fun to hunt with. I recently used the White's MXT at a local lake site. I had permission to hunt the site as I always ask before going on private or public owned property.

MXT Finds a 128 Year Old Foreign Silver Coin

I've recently gained a great respect for the MXT. Since I purchased my DFX back in 2007 the MXT hasn’t even left the shelf until about a week ago. I decided to take it out to one of my favorite parks. I've combed this park in every direction with my DFX. I thought it was pretty well cleaned out. I took the MXT out because the DFX was in the other car and boy was I surprised what I found.

MXT and Deepscan are Finding Gold!

I have two White’s MXT detectors. The first MXT is equipped with a Deep scan DD 1400 elliptical coil. The second MXT is equipped with a Shooter DD coil. We use the deep scan to scan the ledge you see in this first picture. A hotspot has just been discovered. One of my friends is standing by with a large breaker bar. We first use that to see if we can loosen the layer of rock we have detected. If that doesn't work, then we have to change tactics.

Found Grandfather's Badge

I am writing to share with you my most valuable find to date. Although it may have little monetary value, to me it is priceless. Please read on and you will see what I mean.

A while ago I asked my cousin for permission to hunt on his property. He is the owner of an old mill tenement house built around 1880 or so. It has been in his family since 1900 and my grandparents rented one of the apartments from his grandparents. While detecting the property I got a strong signal of a Penney at 7 inches. I retrieved the target and it was this Mass Voluntary Militia first class marksmen's badge. I placed it in my pouch and ...
