I Found My Deepest Silver Half Ever with My V3i
On September 25th this year I dug my deepest ever silver half dollar at one of my favorite haunts which has been hunted by numerous detectorist's for many years. My Lesche tool was all the way down in the hole plus a couple inches before I broke loose the clod of dirt which had the 1941 half in it. I couldn't believe it cause it was actually coated with clay, it had settled about as deep as it could go cause throughout the entire ballpark you hit clay anywhere from 12-15". The original reading that I got from my V3i read half dollar and when I went to pinpoint it I though hmmmm this has to be something good. I just love finding them ...

My White's V3i Does it Again!!
Here are some photos of an old spice can and the coins found inside in the Paso Robles area of California. The can and coins were found 8 1/2 inches deep under and old tree stump that had been cut many years ago. The spice can is from between 1940 to about 1964. The coins found in the can include Morgan Silver dollars from 1888 and 1806, a Peace Dollar from 1928, two Indian Nickles from 1936, twelve Mercury dimes and eleven wheat pennies and a standing Liberty Quarter from 1928. A Morgan silver dollar from 1882 is in the collection photo but it was found about two weeks earlier and in a different location....

A Class Ring Safely Returned to Owner

It was getting late in the season and I decided I had better get out and do some detecting before the weather changed for the worse. So, I usually just drive around and look for a yard to detect and then stop and see if the homeowner will let me detect. I was really happy when this one homeowner said “yes”.

So Glad I Upgraded to a V3i
I would like to start out by saying thanks for making such amazing detectors. I decided to upgrade from a DFX to a V3i back in January, and man am I glad I did! So far I have found 3 large cents, a 1941 mercury dime, and a lead bale seal. All of which were found in spots where I thought I had previously hunted out with my DFX. The V3i ability to pick up small objects very deep in the ground is just amazing. I have also found a small piece of metal with the Masonic (Free Mason) symbol on it. I am not sure what it would have been to, but I was very excited to find it since the Free Masons are such a secret society. My most recent find was a huge led ...

My V3i Finds Gold at the Beach

Recently we had a club hunt at a local beach here in central California. I started out using my trusty TDI SL but found out immediately that there was way to much iron and other trash on this beach to effectively hunt it with a PI detector. So I went back to the car and grabbed my trusty V3i and put my 14X8 coil on it. Although this coil is not V rated it works like a charm on my V3i. I started gridding the beach and about 2 hours in I received a soft low signal. Since I dig everything I didn't even look at the meter and proceeded to scoop up the signal. When I looked in my basket I saw a small gold object that looked like a piece of ...

V3i Produces Quite the Load of Relics

I have been a V3i owner for a couple of years now. Hands down it is the best detector out on the market and I have tried some of the others out there. So far with my V3i I have dug lots of silver coins. But these finds are by far my best that I have ever dug.

V3i Saves a Mother's Day

I thought I would send this after reading the owners rendition of the whole scenario. It seems that there was more to the story over the loss and the history of the earring than I knew ahead of taking the V3i to the field. This was found yesterday, May 21st, out in an open field, using my V3i. Her friend was swinging my M6, Cathy and I have been working together for a month or two since she decided to get into detecting, she using my M6. We had the other earring to sample before the hunt in order to get proper tone and VDI. The owner's story was mainly why I felt that White’s would appreciate reading this. I am also pleased that...

V3i Finds a Spanish Cob in NJ

While detecting an old farm field in New Jersey I got a nice repeatable tone with a VDI of 72 on my V3i. The depth read at four inches. I dug up this Spanish cob. At first I thought it was a dime until I picked off the dirt.

I Am Really Enjoying My V3i

I want to thank you for building such superior metal detectors. After several months of investigating different types of metal detectors and talking to metal detecting companies, I found Jimmy Sierra and his son Jim, who are distributors of your product. They are very professional and knowledgeable. I bought my first MXT then my second was the DFX and now I’m the proud owner of the V3i. It is unbelievable!

My 1st Year is a Big Success

My first year using the V3i was a big success! I started with the standard Coin and Jewelry program and was rather quickly able to create my very own custom program which is working extremely well. It varies somewhat between sites however the on the fly tuning with the live control bar makes fine tuning easy in order to zero in on long hidden and deeper targets.
