White's MXT & Surf Pro PI Metal Detectors Show Results for Dan!
I have purchased 2 White's detectors, the MXT and the Surf Pro PI from Kellyco and I love both of them. I purchased the MXT about three years ago; the finds have been amazing. Last year, I purchased the White's Surf Pro PI to extend my hunting further out into the water. This is another quality detector by White's. I knew this machine would also pay for itself once I started using it. I have enclosed a couple photos of my finds for the month of January 2009, using my MXT in combo with my Surf Pro PI at the beach. I'm not able to get out and hunt as much as I would like. I usually average a couple times a month. However, I was able to get out on six different occasions this ...

Virginia Boy Finds Civil War Sword
Here's a pic of the young man that found the sword, the day he found it! I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to Kellyco for the great deal you all gave his father on the White's MXT!!!!! I told him you all would treat him right and now he is hooked on hunting!! A week after receiving a White's MXT for his seventh birthday, Lucas Hall's gift is already paying dividends for the first-grader. Buried six inches deep was a sword thought to have been used during the Civil War - "I was excited," Lucas said. But the pair was still unsure of their finding until they started digging deeper. "We originally thought it was an old fence post," Gary said. "I started ...

MXT Finds Mothers of Pearl Bracelet
My wife and I were metal detecting at an old school in a near by town. We were using our White's MXTs. My wife was using the 4.5x7 DD Excelerator search coil and I was using the 6" DD Excelerator search coil. I recovered this beautiful women's silver bracelet with what I believe to be Mother of Pearl stones all the way around it. It is very heavy and is marked .925. I walked over to my wife to do a little bragging and held it out for her to see. Well she scooped it out of my hand faster than I could say " Hey Honey look what I found." I think she likes it. It is going to be a great summer for metal detecting. If you get a chance come on out to Idaho this fall and we can go ...

14K Gold Medallion Found!
Hi JW, I just want to tell you that the verdict is in on the 8" DD Excelerator search coil you sent me. It is an excellent search coil and I highly recommend it to White's MXT and DFX users. It is what you would expect from a top of the line search coil. This coil is an excellent choice for open field hunting and even in high trash areas. I have only used it for about 6 or 7 hours but in that time I found that I was able to detect deep targets as I dug several targets that were in the 8 to 9 inch range. I feel that the coil is capable of getting down deeper. Pinpointing with this coil is a snap. You can pinpoint off the front of the coil or the back and when you dig your targe...

Whites MXT Find 1893 Worlds Fair Medallion
Hi My name is Jay, I've been detecting about fifteen years Just thought you would like to see this nice 1893 worlds fair medallion I found, it appears to be made of lead , I don't know much else about it or value if any. But I sure was excited to see that come out of the ground. It's huge as you can see in the pic compared to the rest of my haul. I found it using my Whites MXT with the 5" excelarator coil, found in London, Ontario Canada, about 4" deep. the ground is infested with well rusted iron and a lot of nails I usually get 2-3 in in every scoop of my digger. the MXT with 5" excelarator coil is great at separating trash. Keep up the good work ...I plan on getting a 14- 18...

Cape Cod Beach Delivers 1.74 Carat Diamond Ring
I got into metal detecting after doing my family genealogy. I found out that I had a Great Uncle who was a gold prospector in Arkansas. In 1927 he was murdered for his fortune, and learning this story got me interested in gold prospecting techniques. That was four years ago, and since then I've been metal detecting up and down the Eastern United States. One day I was searching a desolate beach in Cape Cod, MA. - just me, a sand scoop and my Whites MXT that I had been using for two years, when I found my best treasure. I had been out for about a half hour and the beach was really sandy because a storm had just passed. I got a good signal and found, buried about an inch down,...
