M6 Sniffs Out a 1945 Quarter at 7 Inches!
My story is about this old place I have hunted many times with different detectors in Conroe Texas. It is an old spot that a TB Sanitarium used to sit. I thought the spot had long been hunted out because my finds there had dribbled to nothing. After I received my new M6 and donned my new 4x6 Eclipse coil, everything was affirmed about White’s detectors and hunted out sites......AWESOME! The M6 is truly a wonderful machine! I found this nice silver ring and 1945 quarter and the cool thing is the M6 with the 4x6 coil sniffed the quarter out at 7 inches among heavy trash as this site is basically a loitering site for the misfortunate and there i...

The M6 Really Rocks!
I purchased my M6 in January 2013 and although I did not use it much for a few months I have been finding coins everywhere I go. My first White's detector was an Eagle Spectrum, and after 21 years I passed it on to my daughter and it was still working great with no problems. This M6 really rocks! It is simple to use and I like it far better than my old Eagle Spectrum. I hunt everywhere I can legally use a detector and shopping centers with the grassy islands in the parking lot are loaded with coins, and one of my favorite places to shoot. I was just at another shopping center earlier this morning and barely had to move the coil without having ...

Hooked on White's Thanks to My M6

I took my new White's M6 metal detector out today for the second time and detected an old grange fair park. I found a hand full of coin including a 1952 silver dime, over 10+ wheat pennies and this jem.

White's Will Have a New Client Soon

A few years ago, I was just walking around with my White's M6, in a meadow with adjacent houses, of course looking for new interesting finds. In one of the yards, I saw a young little boy, aged about 5 years old, staring at me for quite some time yet.

My Maiden Voyage with the M6

Let me start by saying the Matrix M6 is a great machine... I took it out today for its maiden voyage and it performed flawlessly. I found some great things my first silver a 1923 Mercury dime and my oldest coin an 1895 Indian head penny. My favorite finds of the day were my first round ball and an iron carving which I found at 10". It appears to have a face on each side of it and a hole in the feather for a necklace.

43 Years Later I Returned to the Hobby

In 1970 I purchased for my then 7 year old son a White’s Coinmaster. We lived in California at the time, and we found so many interesting items, such as coins, rings, bracelets, medals, and so many other items. If you will recall, the Coinmaster, at that time, had a big blue electronic component box. I do not remember what happened to it, but it got lost somewhere during our moves and/or his growing up. He used it for only a couple of years and like many boys, got interested in sports and other hobbies.

1,2,3...Bam a Hit

Today I was detecting behind a friends barn and 1, 2,3… Bam a slamming hit, so I said “let it be something nice.” What do I know, I pulled out my Bullseye Pinpointer and there is a shine and glimpse of gold. I saw the band of the ring and said “Let it be good!”

The M6 Isn't One to Underestimate

I just wanted to show you what the M6 turned up last month. My hunting buddy and I had a chance to hunt a private campground that by all appearances has not been hunted before. They two photos show two different days at the beach and playground area.

M6 Finds at a POW Camp

Over a year and a half ago a friend of mine mentioned the whereabouts of a WWII POW Camp in Michigan. He knew the land owner where he believed the camp used to be and granted us permission to hunt it. The first hunt was not as successful as I was a novice relic hunter at the time. If you gave me a coin signal under the M6, I would have it found in a jiffy, but relics were a new game for me.
