Ok, Now My V3i is Just Showing Off.
I took it back to the house that it was bought to be used for. This house's yard has mineralization from hell. It masked out everything deeper than 4 inches. So I bought a V3i which has all the adjustability I need to punch through.
The first time I hunted this property I got two silver quarters and two silver dimes. This time my V3i found me one silver medallion and a 1918 walking liberty half dollar. That would have been cool enough, but it also got me a man's 10 karat gold ring with a garnet stone in it. Not to mention a 1899 Indian head as well as 10 wheat cents and a naval button. Now for a little tech note.
The settings I used was coin and jewelry. The expert adjustments are such. ground filter 12.5Hz band-pass , sensitivity full with TX boost on, recovery delay of 9, S.A.T of 30 and threshold off.
