FS-Thermoscan
Thermography and cavity detection
FS-Thermoscan works by recognizing that all objects having temperature radiate energy in the form of heat and or cold temperatures. This energy travels in all directions at the speed of light. Objects store and dissipate this energy in different concentrations. For example: If a treasure was hidden in a cave on the side of a mountain and the mouth of the cave was filled in, the treasure would be hidden from sight. However, when the FS-Thermoscan is pointed at the side of the mountain, it can read the typical surface temperature. The trapped air in the cave keeps the mouth, even though covered over, slightly cooler and this difference can be detectable. Buried treasure (gold and silver) will absorb and store more heat than the ground surrounding it. As the ground cools, the treasure retains a higher degree of heat which is indicated on the meter of the FS-Thermoscan.
Use the FS-Thermoscan to locate physical treasures, caves, tunnels, mines, wells, etc.
When the scanner is used at a treasure site at ground level,
or scans the side of a hill, the scanner collects and focuses the energy onto the detection circuitry...
By taking different readings of an area, the scanner will be able to determine temperature changes caused by buried metals, caves, mine shafts, etc.. Sometimes the ground is covered by heavy vegetation and it is almost impossible to take in larger metal detectors. In many cases the FS-Thermoscan would locate the hot spot or disturbed area, making it easier to locate the treasure. The FS-Thermoscan can be used ether as a stand-alone device or can be connected to the Earth Imager, EXP-4000 and EXP-5000 that allows the user to store and then download the readings through the 3D-graphics program provided with these units.
Possible applications are
- the detection of cavities (caves, tunnels, chambers, chests),
- the visualization of the distribution of temperatures as well as
- the measurement if differences in temperatures.
Because of the integrated laser pointer pinpointed measurements are possible. The device works contactless and therefore a field can also be researched from far distances. This is an important advantage if the field is impassable by the searcher.
