SD 2200v2 is one of the world's most powerful gold detectors.
When using a conventional metal detector, the ground mineralization interferes with the signal, which substantially limits the depth at which a nugget can be detected. The SD 2200v2, however uses Minelab's exclusive technology known as Multi Period Sensing (MPS) as well as five outstanding features.
This enables the SD 2200v2 to minimize the effects of mineralization, to penetrate deeper, and to provide you with an interference free signal. This effectively has overcome the problem of ground noise, and it essentially only produces a signal on actual metal targets such as a gold nugget. Ideal for the beginner, couple or experienced prospector. Supplied with the versatile 11" DD coil (other coils available as accessories) the ergonomically balanced "S-bend" shaft makes the Minelab SD 2200v2 a comfortable, lightweight machine.
