The SD 2100v2 is a classic
performer with an all new design. It's a proven winner for any treasure hunter with a budget in mind, featuring exceoptional depth, sensitivity, and reliability.
When using a conventional metal detector, the ground mineralization interferes with the signal which substantially limits the depth at which a nugget can be detected. The SD 2100v2, however, uses Minelab's exclusive technology known as Multi Period Sensing (MPS). This enables the SD 2100v2 to minimize the effects of mineralization, to penetrate deeper, and to provide you with an interference free signal.
This has effectively overcome the problem of ground noise, as this machine only produces a signal on actual metal targets such as a gold nugget. It is ideal for the beginner, couple, or experienced prospector. Supplied with the versatile 11" Double D coil (other coils available as accessories) the ergonomically balanced S-bend shaft makes the Minelab SD 2100v2 a comfortable, lightweight machine.

The SD 2100v2 will provide you with far more depth compared
to conventional detectors.
End Caps: These protect the control knobs from any damage
and also prevent the knob settings from being knocked out
of position while detecting.
Control Box Stand: This improves the detectors stability
when it is placed on the ground and prevents it from being
knocked over and damaged.
Removable Armrest: The removable two piece armrest has
been designed to proved greater strength and durability.
Tune Control: Enables you to tune the SD 2100v2's operating
frequency to minimize electrical interference from power lines,
radar, and radio transmitters, as well as enable you to detect
in close proximity to other metal detectors.
Tone Control: This enable you to easily set the tone to
suit your personal hearing
