about all these different
sized Coils?
|
The
standard searchcoil that comes with the detector is
ideal for all around searching. The smaller coil (4.5x7")
is recommended for heavy trash areas (lots of close-together
targets.) Larger coils 12.5" & 14", are
recommended for increased depths for larger targets,
jars of coins, jewelry stash, bags of coins, gold, etc.
Note: with larger coils, sensitivity to coin-sized targets
decreases. |

5 Inch EXcelerator coil is masterful in searching out
older more valuable coins in "worked out"
areas. Thin necklaces and bracelets that are virtually
impossible for other detectors and larger coil sizes

has generally resulted in adding 25% to 40% more depth
versus a standard factory searchcoil. The 12.5"
EXcelerator searchcoil does not stop at 25% or even
40% increased depth but has been reported single coin
recoveries at 50% and in some cases almost doubling
the depth of standard factory searchcoils. Use the 12.5"
