Bernard is very impressed with the Garrett ACE 150
For several years i have been in search of a good detector at a reasonable price for my son.
I first bought a cheap little one from Target, the Discovery Channel model for $25.00 to see if my son, who is now 10, how he would like it before buying a good one.
He used it all the time because he likes collecting things but it was junk. So over the last couple of years i've looked at different brands including the ones at Wal-Mart but they seemed complicated. I looked into your web site because i saw local distributors with ads about Garrett ACE 150 but his price was $20 more and didn't come with accessories. I ordered from you and with in 3 days my order was delivered. I kept teasing my son how i got a big present for him and that he would love it, and when he opens it he was going to want to use it right away. So over the last two days that I have been teasing him i finally decided to open it and try it while he was at school.
I can not stress enough to any potential customers that the Garrett ACE 150 is very friendly and easy to use, just press the power button and choose what you want to look for. I went outside to see what it could do, and within 5 minutes in my yard I found buried about 80 cents. Well the fun was over because my son was walking down the street so i had to run inside and before I hid it. I wanted to see what it would say for a ring so i put one on the floor and it read it. But the sad part is that now I have to wait until Christmas but not only that i have to buy one for myself. I know I would not get a chance to use my son's and he will have all the fun. So i'm going to order the ACE 250 for myself for Christmas.
