Photos of Kellyco Metal Detectors It was only a few weeks ago when I picked up and tested the new Minelab SDC 2300 for the first time at the Kellyco pre launch party. My first thoughts were hopefully this metal detector will help me to find small diamond ear rings and gold chains on the beach and in the shallow water. After yesterdays early morning shallow water hunt, I can say I was right to put my faith in the new waterproof Minelab. I found three gold rings and this superb platinum ladies ring with a 1.5 carat diamond. It just goes to show that these diamond rings are out there, and a little extra hard work digging all metal targets with a great pulse induction metal detector does pay off. 28th July 2014 12:12

When searching for treasure on the beach, look for hard-packed sand or even black sand, along with shallow, washed out gullies. Loose sand does not carry many good targets. Also, look for pebbles or shells lying on the sand.
