I had to let you know the good news!
I FOUND IT!!! My lost gold wedding ring! On my second try, I found it under 2 or 3 inches of leaves, covered further by dirt.
I lost it at least 3 years ago, and had given up hope of finding it.
My wife gave it to me 32 years ago, and no ring would ever replace this one. It's just a small gold wedding band, but it represents the time we have been blessed to spend together. She is very happy. She has been disabled for about 12 years, the ring means a lot to both of us.
I wanted to thank you as well because I told you what I needed, and the price I had to be under. We mixed and matched units until we found what I needed, under my budget.
I also told you I wanted a unit that would hold a good resale value if I found the ring and no longer needed the detector.
I'm not quite ready to sell...( I wonder why??)
I also found a pre 1920 .45 caliber bullet, various depression era pieces of farm metals, our property marker, shotgun brass etc... Total hours spent looking under 2.
(BTW, If anyone else reads this, my budget was modest, call and let Doris or someone there help find the best match for what you need, it is worth it)
Just wanted to let you know I was successful finding my wedding band, and I appreciate your help!
First off I did not talk with anyone when I made my order. (I should have) I thought your site was nice and easy to navigate. But with that said, my order needed some correction done to it after it was placed. Not sure how but I think I may have selected the etrac from the etrac page and in doing so I did not get the option of the extra option free stuff. When I called all was taken care of very fast.
In buying the etrac and given the choice of BOGO I chose the V4 pin pointer, I did not catch that there was a free one all ready coming from the perches. When I hit the info link I thought there was a cost for it. The only one that showed at check out was the BOGO one. (IMHO after using the V4 it is truly a piece of crap. It only works if you're touching the coin 1/2" maybe if there is nothing on top of it. And I have 2 of them. That would not be so bad if it worked well. Disappointed) Not sure what I would have chosen, but would have not chose to get 2 of them. Maybe a trade-in for another BOGO item?
As for the order being on time, I truly like your site and got loads of info from it. I read up on your company and saw and believed that you had the detectors in stock. I ordered on 6/15 and did not get it till 6/29 due to a back order for the etrac. That was longer than I thought it would have taken when I made the purchases. Knowing ahead of time about the back order would have been nice.
The etrac is a great detector! For the little time that I have had to use the etrac, other than the $10 in clad I found a 1942 Merc and a 1954 Rosei. The Merc Tone and CO was a bit iffy surrounded by iron. Both silvers were found around the old part of the fair grounds that has been under the hunt for 20+ years. Not to bad for a new guy learning.
I think you have a great site. There is a load of great information for making a decision on purchasing a detector and nice incentives when purchasing one.
