Fisher F2 - 2 Coil Package Metal Detector
If it's in the Ground or in the Water a Fisher Metal Detector Will Find it!
The Fisher F2 features a large control panel with seven big push buttons and an equally big display. The control panel is very simple to operate, making this an excellent detector for beginners.
On the control housing you will see both a two (2) digit display and a target category readout on the top showing items from iron/foil to nickels, to dimes, quarters, etc. An arrow will illuminate under the target category and a two digit number will show specific target value that helps you identify your target. Anyone can pick up the Fisher F2 and start detecting right away.
The F2 features “Notch Discrimination” which allows the user to pinpoint an item and prevent the detector from detecting it again (great for those pesky pull tabs). It has an “All Metals” mode which is great for scanning parks, beaches and old home sites for coins and jewelry while still ignoring old scrap iron. Meanwhile, Depth Readout will tell you exactly how deep to dig for the target.
The sensitivity of this machine has earned rave reviews from both first time users and experienced detectorists. It has found items as deep as 10” in various soil types with medium sensitivity. Meanwhile the Pinpointing feature allows you to hone in on specific items. The 4” coil makes hunting in trash areas a breeze, and tested hot on 3 grain gold nuggets – meaning this machine is good for prospecting as well!
The light weight of the Fisher F2 combined with the adjustable arm cuff will keep you hunting for hours! The Headphone jack is conveniently located on the bottom of the unit and is weather protected to stay safe in various hunting conditions.
“If you want an easy to use, simple detector that you can turn on and go, the F2 is for you.” – Erik S.
“Together with the tone and digital readout this is a great detector to use and it is light enough swing all day!” – Millard W.
“One of the features that I like the most is that it has a pinpoint to make finding your coins in a smaller search area and that is nice for the new guy just starting out.” – Jeff S.

I bought the Fisher F2 2 Coil Package about a year ago and I love it.
Happy But Not Impressed
Review by Mike R on May 14, 2014
I just received my detector today. I was very excited. It was a demo unit. I saved close to $70.00 under new. I was happy with that. I used to use a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II. I am getting used to the target ID. The only complaint I had was that the detector arrived dirty, not just dirt, but what looked like crusty food... I can see that it was used, but I thought that Kellyco would have at least cleaned it up before shipping. Other than that I am happy with it.
Awsome Machine for the Price!

I made this purchase over a year ago and would not change anything. The Fisher F2 will have you finding treasure in no time! It is very nice to learn on with its great ability to pinpoint and differentiate targets before recovery. I would recommend the Fisher F2 to any of my friends or family that wanted to try their hand at this very enjoyable hobby. I would also recommend that they purchase it from Kellyco as their customer service is outstanding!
Excellent for a First Detector
Review by David L on May 14, 2013
I chose this as my first REAL detector after much research. Combined with the accessories that are included, it is an exceptional value in my opinion. While we have not yet been on a "real" hunt with it yet, I've practiced with it in my yard, and at my parents yard. So far, it has located coins down to 8 inches, and can easily be set to notch out iron and tabs. The feel of the detector while swinging is very light weight and balanced, producing very little fatigue. I think this detector will easily carry me further into the hobby for a few years before needing any kind of upgrade.
Not Bad for the Money

Have had it for a little over a week. Found lots of coins at local parks. Then hit a silver ring. With a little time and playing with it found some wheats and a silver quarter. Take you time and learn how to use it. For the price you can't go wrong. For the people with problems with it, try new batteries. I plan on buying a better one now and keeping this for a spare. As soon as I find enough coins to pay for this one. Did not know metal detecting would be this fun.
