Fisher 18x15" SEF Butterfly Search Coil (Minelab E-Series)
8x6" Search Coil from Detech, Compatible with Minelab E-Series. Includes Coil Cover
The new 8x6" SEF, or butterfly Excelerator coil is designed to work those higher trash sites or just about anywhere a smaller SEF coil is needed. This little guy still offers better all around performance when compared to the other DD coils on the market today. Better ground balancing, more stable operation, more accurate pinpointing and increased target identification are all benefits of this coil. Field tests show SEF coils truly find deeper targets. *A coil cover is included with this search coil.

Very Good Coil
Review by David S on July 27, 2015
I bought this search coil to use in areas with a lot of trash and it really worked well. I went to a new location and first used the stock coil on my Minelab Explorer SE Pro and it found a lot of items. I then switched out the coil to the SEF coil and went back over the same area using the same settings and swing speed. I found many more things that the stock coil missed due to the amount of trash in the ground. It really does work well. I was even able to lock on targets in a spot that kept making the stock coil null.

I'm in my mid 60's and I've been metal detecting on and off 40 plus years. 4 or 5 years is a normal run with a fair amount of detecting for each run at it. I always found it amazing after starting again each time their are changes to the detectors. WOW! Last used was a higher end Fisher. Purchased a Minelab Safari as my main, a second Minelab X-Terra 305 a great detector as a loaner to get my little brother out. The Safari with the coil switched is worth twice the price! With this coil on this Safari you can choose to hunt out parks, etc. and coins (silver) and gold rings deep, it is amazing. Old School now in a new detector world. Also bought a great detector for the beach and lakes of Texas. Garret AT Gold Pro. Gets much less time but good to 10" deep and along with the Safari you will pay for these two with your first day in time. Ask for Scott if you want, he knows his stuff. Remember 6x8, and for the best price on it all and honesty go to Kellyco Detectors.
