Ok about fifty hours with this coil and it is a must have! I also have the stock 9.5, but the little shooter is me primary coil endless it's an un trashy open area. I used the coil in flagstaff AZ and upstate NY and both soil types works amazing. It has even pulled coins out from under rusty nails and that's hard for any detector. Dry soil I'm digging six inch targets and wet soil about eight inches with whites dfx.

I bought the 4x6 eclipse shooter to use in high junk areas like parks. I found that this coil not only gets in between pull tabs and other junk to find coins and jewlery but goes deep. 5-6 inches. This is my first season metal detecting and it was very rewarding . I found many coins with the Shooter and a 1935 walking liberty half dollar 5 inches deep. I find that I use the 4x6 more often now. I'm new to metal detecting but had a great season right off, thanks to the 4x6 !
Killer coil in trash filled spots.

The soil in the Charleston SC area is some what mineralized. Even in the Summerville area which is only 20 or so miles from the ocean. This coil seems to go almost as deep as the stock 9" concentric on my MX5. Where it really does the job is when there is a lot of iron and foil laying around. I have found coins 6 and 7 inches deep right next to a bolt or foil. You can move the coil and hear targets within an inch of one another. Great separation.
