One day I was searching a desolate beach in Cape Cod, MA. just me, a sand scoop and my Whites MXT that I had been using for two years, when I found my best treasure. I had been out for about a half hour and the beach was really sandy because a storm had just passed. I got a good signal and found, buried about an inch down, a 1.74 carat diamond ring. White's
MXT Finds Bullets, Coins & More At Civil War Sites
After
being dissatisfied with the metal detector I first owned, I
contacted J.W. at KELLYCO to ask for his advice. He recommended
the White's MXT. I received the MXT shortly afterward and began
to become familiar with it around my house. With two boys involved
in sports and the hot Georgia sun, I did not have much time
to spend in the field during my off time. What time I did have,
I had a ball and found everything from bullets, spurs, spoons,
scissors, watch parts and coins all from Civil War sites. I
have also found coins and jewelry at some old abandoned houses.
I am impressed with every feature the MXT has to offer. I'm
glad that J.W. recommended the MXT. I have thoroughly enjoyed
using it! – Eddie B.,

EXcelerator
5" + White's MXT = OUTSTANDING!
Well I got home this evening and decided to
try the 5 inch EXcelerator searchcoil in my nail pile.
Well going across the yard I stopped to check out the quarter
I have buried at 10 inches, interesting find, I tried relic
mode gain +3, disc on 2, swept over the quarter and got a slight
change in the threshold, left the setting as they were and flipped
to coin mode, No ID but a good enough beep to make you dig.
Well content with this I went out to my nail pile, dub a bunch
of iffy signals which were all nails. They ranged from
4-8 inches. Then got a good hit showed 9 inches, 6
inches down was a lead bullet, then found a couple more funny
looking things. I still ended up using the relic mode
as it is better in iron. The bullet looks like the one
I see on the relic forum, maybe my first!! Anyway, I was
pleased with the little coil and got a few more trash heap in
mind I want to check out with it. I have no idea what
the big round thing is, thought it was my first 50 cent piece
for a minute.
