White's DFX With NEW Excelerator Searchcoil Finds
Silver in "HOT" Mineralized Soil.

I got out today with the White's DFX for about 90 minutes and was very surprised with the results. I put in a new program and used the Excelerator 8" DD coil. I went to the oldest park in town that I have beat to death in the past with my Explorer and still managed to squeeze some silver out. The mineralization here in NW Indiana reads -92 to -95 on the dc ground phase on the DFX. This is HOT ground. To go along with this hot ground was also DRY ground. We have had only a 1/4 inch of rain the past month. The conditions were, just plain old bone dry ground. The Excelerator coil on this machine performed EXCELLENT. The four pieces of silver found at 6 to 8 inches deep!

The pinpointing was superb and the depth was superb. The four pieces of silver I found were at 6 to 8 inches deep. Two of the mercury dimes were down 8 inches and the token and brass bolt were closer to 9 inches deep.

The more I use the White's DFX, the more amazed I am in it's performance. This machine can really get the coins out of high mineralized ground and equipped with the excelerator coil, its a deadly combination. Thanks goes to JW for talking me into using this coil. It has been by far the best coil for the DFX. Another thumbs up for KELLYCO and their Excelerator coils!
