Wanda
Did the Chicken Dance THREE Times!!
I was testing the Minelab Excalibur 1000 with the 10 Inch search coil. With the tide so high, there was very little loose sand. The entire area was wet with salt water but all three machines performed exceptionally well. I started detecting close to the retaining wall and within a minute I had a target indicated. Dug a new nickel, moved a few more feet down the beach, then I got hits like crazy! Click Here to Read More. |
From that day on the days just got better. For six weeks I detected 2 beaches, 5 sports grounds, 2 parks and 2 race tracks between Port Headland and Karratha. I found a total of just over $3,000 in $1 and $2 coins, 17 rings, 22 pendants and 20 odd dollars of 1 and 2 cent pieces. Approximately $50 in silver, mostly 50c pieces (once I got the hang of the discriminator). Plus 34 pre-decimal coins, lead sinkers - I stopped counting at 150. Click here to read more. |
My friends all have hobbies like golfing, fishing and hunting. That's fine, but my hobby is the "Greatest Hobby in the World!" I leave home broke and come back with diamonds, gold, silver and some pocket change! Get yourself a Minelab Excalibur and find out what I'm excited about.

Excalibur
1000 Finds Silver Rings On Wet Sand & In Water!
Hit the surflane again
this morning from about 1:30 to 6:00 using my Minelab Excalibur
1000. Dug quite a few targets
but nothing like last night. And there were a lot less ULTRA
DEEP ones, being that the sand had shifted. Still had a good
number of finds but was also getting more fresh drops. And I
never really found a "hot spot" to speak of...it was
pretty much beg, borrow, or steal. . .Click here to

Excalibur
Finds 18K Gold Chain, 14K Pendant & More!
I have two things on my wish
list for this summer. One
was to find another killer diamond ring for my wife like I did
last summer. The other was for a nice gold chain for me. Well
Saturday night, using my Minelab Excalibur, I crossed the chain
off the list! And I couldn’t have found a better one.
Being that I'm retired Navy, this 18K chain with an anchor and

Reveals Great Finds at the Ultimate Test
I approached the crest of
the dune of a popular beach in Florida.
To my dismay, I noticed two other TH'ers combing the beach.
Immediate disappointment. Nearly one hour passed and the professional
TH'er departed. I powered up the Excalibur and began searching
his tell-tale lines including his exact footprints in the wet
sand. Thirty seconds yielded a. . . . Read

Excalibur Finds: Gold With Diamonds!
I
think this is 6 hunts in a row finding gold. This
is nuts! I took today off from work so I figured why not hit
the low tide last night/this morning. I got there at 1 AM and
hunted until about 5. I ran into David from Suffolk who had
a nice silver cross. I'm sure he hit a ring or two after we
met up. I had just started about 20 minutes before. There weren't
too many targets where I was but I got 10 quarters, a dozen
dimes, 5 nickels, and a number of pennies. Somewhere in there
was the unmistakable Excalibur sound of a gold ring, not once
but twice. And one with 4 small diamonds. Yeah, no big honker
rock for me this time, but it's coming! I sure can't complain!
The band is 14K and the diamond ring is 10K. Now it's time for
me to get some shuteye so I can do it again tomorrow. –

See
what Wanda FOUND:
I was calf deep in the water
and then I moved south beyond the pier I found the Ankh which
was easily 10-inches deep. It wasn’t a minute
after that that I had a strong signal and dug up a man’s
ring and then a few minutes later a woman’s ring.
