Excalibur 1000 Finds Silver Rings On Wet Sand & In Water

Hit the surflane again this morning from about 1:30 to 6:00 using my Minelab Excalibur 1000 with balanced shaft assembly. Had my new shaft-mounted waterproof LED light on and must say it was awesome! Dug quite a few targets but nothing like last night. And there were a lot less ULTRA DEEP ones, being that the sand had shifted. Still had a good number of finds but was also getting more fresh drops. And I never really found a "hot spot" to speak of...it was pretty much beg, borrow, or steal. Some were in the wet sand, some in the water.

Still, managed to find a couple nice chunks of silver. Both finds were down there a LONG time looks like. One was heavily tarnished and the other bent and scratched, consistent with years in the deep sand. I hit both with electrolysis as well as the "Amanda" pendant from last weekend. I know a guy at work who has a daughter named Amanda and I'm going to give it to him with a silver chain to go with it so he can give it to her. He's done some welding for me a couple of times on a scoop I had, so I need to keep him happy. Never ceases to amaze me what a little "shock therapy" will do for an old piece of silver.
