KELLYCO Donates A Cutting Edge Sovereign GT Metal Detector For The 3rd Consecutive
Diggin' In Virginia Hunt

For the third consecutive Diggin' In Virginia (DIV) hunt, KELLYCO showed their support for the hobby by donating a metal detector to be given away free to a lucky participant.

The winner of the Minelab Sovereign GT at DIV III was Roland Hankey. Over 75 items were donated and given away free to the hunt participants with KELLYCO's donation leading the way.

At DIV III, Minelab partnered with KELLYCO to donate their cutting edge Sovereign GT detector. This hunt was held in March 2005 just outside Fredericksburg, Virginia. Over 125 hunters from all over the nation came together to excavate a Union winter camp that was present at the site during the winter of 1862-1863.

Among the items found were camp goods, swords, knives, coins, many dozen buckles and plates, over a hundred bottles, several hundred buttons, thousands of bullets and many other items. In addition to the historical items, many stories of past hunts were told and many friendships were made.
