1818 Coin Found with Minelab Explorer II

"Thanks for the great service on the Minelab Explorer II Metal Detector. I found this 1818 large cent on a salt water beach in Connecticut. I'm amazed that the date is visible after all of these years. I also found two other large cents in the same area, as well as a 1861 Seated Liberty Quarter (my first seated coin in 23 years of detecting). The depth on the salt water beach with the Explorer II is fantastic.

I have continued to recommend Kellyco to new users and as you know I just purchased a Minelab Musketeer for my sister who recently retired. I look forward to some old coins coming my way in the next few years, and will keep you posted. Thanks JW, and have a nice holiday season.
